Folder Retour à la Source

Retour à la Source is more than just a Bed and Breakfast or a small campsite. Retour à la Source is a retreat, a place where you can go back to your own Source. The welcoming and calm atmosphere gives you room to breathe and the space to get back to your own nature. You will find places in the garden where you will find your inner beauty, you can work in the vegetable garden en find your roots or simply do nothing and enjoy the tranquil place Kitty and John created in the middle of the Lot in France.

Briefing, design a folder that:

• Represents Retour à la Source in a simple and elegant way.
• Stands out between all the other folders in the tourist information office.
• Is easy to reproduce even in rural France.

After a few phone calls and a back and forth by email I made two designs. Retour à la Source is all about making a connection with nature and inner silence, one poem tells the whole story. They have lavender in abundance at Retour à la Source I decided to incorporate that into the design. 

1. a card with a sprig of lavender woven through it
2. a satchel filed with lavender and bound shut with lavender stalk.

Kitty and John were very happy with the two designs and decided to use both.
